Polyprenyl Immunostimulant™ FIP Dosage Calculator

How much Polyprenyl Immunostimulant™ do you need for FIP?

Please always work with your veterinarian on all issues related to the treatment of your cat. Our calculators are intended to show you an example based on Dr. Legendre’s extensive research and field trials but it is up to you and your veterinarian to decide how to treat your cat with Polyprenyl Immunostimulant™.

The dose of Polyprenyl Immunostimulant™ depends on the weight of your cat. Dr. Legendre recommends 3mg/kg (1.5mL/kg) orally for Feline Infectious Peritonitis. The single maximum dosage may be adjusted from 5mL to 7.5mL. The treatment may be tapered or stopped per your veterinarian’s advice. Our ongoing FIP field trials use 3mg/kg daily for two weeks, then every other day. The daily dose may be split into two and given at different times of the day.

Our online Polyprenyl Immunostimulant™ calculators use the latest recommendations based on our ongoing FIP studies. The new protocol includes a daily dosage for the first two weeks of treatment, then every other day. Our calculators are weight-based and in lbs. The maximum dose is capped at 5mL. Please keep in mind that your veterinarian may recommend a different dose/frequency. Per Dr. Legendre, it may take up to two or three weeks to see the cat’s response.

Our FIP calculators let you estimate the single dose amount, how many vials you need for the initial 2-weeks at a daily dose, and for the following 30 day supply at an every other day dose. (You may purchase both portions at the same time.)
